2nd Perfect Game of the Season!

...and, only the 20th in all of Baseball history.

I remember my ol'man & I listening to Bunning's perfect game,
Father's Day, 1964, while we were painting the garage.

Weird how memories are triggered...
Congrats to Hallady and the Phils!

Halladay throws perfect game, beats Marlins 1-0 - MLB - Yahoo! Sports

Interesting... Had you ever been to Connie Mack? Or the Vet?

Never ConnieMack...lived in NJ in the mid 70s, so I got to the Vet regularly for the Phils & the Beags. Grew up in Detroit: Briggs Stadium, then Tiger Stadium. Haven't been to the new stadium there, though we did drive by the ruins of Tiger stadium for nostalgia.

I'm sure you know how important '64 is in Phillies History. For me it is the year I started going to games.

I've been to CitiPark about a dozen times and love the place. It is similar to Turner Field as are a lot of modern parks.

Looking forward to the Phils taking another crown this year.

Yes, I do, and was a Bunning fan when he pitched for the Tigers before going to the Phils...been listening, watching and, playing as a kid into HS,
since the early '50s. Our Kidz live in south jersey, so they are huge
Phils, Flys, & Beags fans, as am I, 'cept for the Beags, .

It's the first time in the modern era that it's happened twice in the same season. The last time was in the 1880's.
