Did anyone else just realize that adding tethering juices your plan $20 a month.

WTF you cheap bastards. Thats like telling a first that its extra to go from pot to crack. If you use the computer, you'll bill more for data.

Just another reason phone services are a rip off in this country.

I agree with you on the tethering. WiFi is so readily (and cheaply) available these days. I had even jail-broken my iPhone 3G at one time as I thought I may want to use tethering -- I never did use it (and jail-broken phones are just not worth the maintenance!).

So... uh, apparently I received three different order confirmation e-mails and the cc was charged three times. Two arrive JUN 24th and the third between JUL 7-9.

I'll admit, I freaked out for a moment.

Then my buddy mentioned eBay. Lord almighty, prices are ridiculous! I threw up my extra two iPhone 4's on eBay for a buy-it-now auction. I'll have to wait and see if the market will bear my pricing. If you're given lemons make lemonade I guess. :p

edit: my pricing is about middle-of-the-road as of last night, but with news of the sell-out, prices have gone up on the newly listed auctions placed this morning. Eh, perhaps that will make my two units move.

Ummm. You've received credit card charges already??? I can't find the web page now but I'm pretty sure that AT&T said that the charges would ONLY be made when the phone ships. Did you do your ordering through Apple?

I mentioned in an earlier post that I'm concerned about multiple charges too. No charges have shown up on my credit cards yet.

EDIT: On the "Confirmation Summary", that I got from my AT&T in-store pre-order, it says "Charges not applied until item ships".

Yep, I sure have. (Ordered through Apple.com) I take that with a grain of salt, what with the Apple/AT&T online meltdown yesterday and all. I think it's going to take them a minute to get things sorted.

Nah, I don't want to downgrade from my 2 blackberry's or from unlimited data and voice

You will be happy to know that I just approved them (iphones) as supportable devices at work, and started an iPad POT.

Have you pre-ordered your new iphone 4 through AT&T and exposed all of your personal data to the other fanboi's? I hope not, because that would suck

I hope that you're kidding around about being so dismissive of this. Not even fanboi's can be so blase' about it.

It doesn't matter if you ordered through AT&T or not, if you have an account with AT&T other people may have seen your info.
