The fact that he can catch a ball off the backboard, slam dunk a rubber/leather like material ball, and run up/down a court for 48 minutes does not (read: should not) garner this much attention. Oh, and the same goes for when a wealthy individual cheats on his wife...it happens to millions of people, unfortunately, each day. Move the F on! And a special TV program, com'on... In other news, the EPA rejected a way to prevent further oil spillage reaching the shores of LA by using stones and rock in the break before the shore, stating it would be dangerous and harmful to the environment.

I predict that they crash and burn. Having that many egos on 1 team is a recipe for disaster. How do I know? I'm a NY Rangers fan, they tried the same thing - signing big name players to big contracts and it never worked.

Good lord I was thinking the same thing.
But maybe they'll prove folks wrong.....  My Grandson is lying on the floor kicking, crying and screaming in disbelief. I'm exaggerating of course. He was hoping for New York. Quote:

I was hoping he woulld choose NYK, too. A team with a legacy, a town rooted in basketball. As far a chemestry, they said the same about the Celts when KG, Allen and Pierce first got together. It doesn't appear that egos got in their way. Allen even re-signed with the Celts this week.

Loyalty?!? Dan Gilbert is talking about LOYALTY?!? Where was Dan's LOYALTY to MIKE BROWN after he fired him after having the best regular season record of any NBA coach/team? For a coach who was the NBA Coach of the Year just the year before? For a coach and a player that have led your team to the Eastern Conference Semifinals every year since 2005 (save 2010)? For a coach and a player that led your team to the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history? Would Dan call LeBron narcissistic had he re-signed with Cleveland? Proll'y not...
