It linked with my 535 XIT no problem but it still did not bring over all my 2,000 contacts.

The phone is fast but it lacks polish. It does not really link with with my Mac and I have to spend considerable time finding settings that should be easy to find. The tow biggest issues is that it does not have spell check for email (yes you can get a app) and it does not delete the emails from the server. It is no BB with regard to email.

We will see what the 2.2 update archives but if your phone is working I would wait until 2011 for a I-Phone with Verizon.

how did you setup your email? you probably went with the default to never delete your messages (pop3). on imap, by nature you are working on the server so its sync'ed realtime. if corporate email, Good does an amazing job of corporate pushed email that is secured very similar to how BB BES does it.

i never trust spell check since it will sooner or later change a word to something else that i never meant it to be... if its that important, re-read it several times before sending it. if it's not important to have correct grammar/spelling the other party will know what you meant anyways...

Perhaps you should return it and get something that
just works without all the hassle.
