OT: Forums Mod/Forum founders - Homepage too Large

The main news center that is now the prominent display on the homepage is a smigen too large IMO. The XOP site is one of the very few sites in that you even have to scroll horizontal...on the main homepage.

Just some food for thought....

1440x900 on my MBP using Firefox.
Desk has a 2560x ??

The forum thread pages are fine.
It's the *main homepage* that the resolution/canvas size is set to is too large ..

Yup, same thing on IE and Chrome. It's been that way for awhile, needs to be shrunk horizontally.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
Looks better now than it was the last few days, my res is 1680/1050 (adjusted to fit with my 1600/1200 projector res) so I didn't need to scroll, but the "latest forum topics" on the right was waaay too narrow. Looks better now but still not to where it was before the news feed.

Exactly, putting a tower on both sides of the page needs a lot of real estate.

It was this way (horizontal scrolling) for me for about a week. After I actually scrolled to the right and back to left, the next time I loaded it, it rendered fine. I'm running 1920x1080 on firefox.
