A snap shot, from the Asheville Citizen Times rag, showing Mt LeConte Lodge on Monday. The Lodge is located just below
the summit of Mt LeConte, at ~ 6600 ft elevation, in the Smoky Mtns, about 20 mins from me, as the crow flies.

Wow that's a nice shot! I've been dreaming of winter a lot lately - we just had our first reprieve from 100+ degree weather this weekend finally!

Great pic....been also dreaming of winter recently...last Monday 107F, yesterday 66F and rain. It's the law of averages...

I prefer warmer weather not a skier and don't have snow tires for my bike cycle.
