my older brother named his Pure White 1983 Ford Ranger the Great White... When i was in High School i rebuilt a two tone blue with silver pin stripes 2WD 87 ranger with a fuel injected v6, 5 speed, 3.73 limited slip and a fund for new tires. someone called it the blue flame and it stuck. some of my other picks have been named mostly by women but they never seemed to stick like the blue flame... and my X, a friend called it the seX 5. she had a nissan Xterra named seXterra.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
I have named vehicles owned in the past, but only when the name was really deserved... like my <$1000 '85 bronco with 200k+ miles and many problems (strictly offroading truck) was named "El-Fucko", my '69 F250 3/4 ton big block truck was the blue beast, my brother's old rusted out mustang was the rustang, my mom named her E39 528i Black Betty, etc. None of my recent vehicles deserved such a name.

I don't have a name for mine but this is how it usually happens.

/carry on.
All the houses where I live have a name. The street does not have a numbering system or a street name. It is a single road in a village with 20 houses - no need for numbers. The houses were named in approximately 1740. Other houses were built later but all of them were named too rather than numbered. In rural areas of the UK only naming could work.
