Wanted to drop a thank you note for the promo code and provide a brief review for those considering or on the fence. I've had a couple extensive flights so it's been used thoroughly for audio/video. Initially purchased a set for myself and liked them enough to purchase a couple more as gifts for friends...a few other friends/colleagues purchased as well.

Firstly, only issue i've experienced so far was extra screening at airport (actually expected this at some point). Not sure if the headphones triggered this, as i tucked them away in front pouch of travel bag before sending through x-ray machine.

Audio editing/mixing/mastering is incorporated in work i do so i'm quite particular about sound quality. While these headphones may not be practical for the detail-level work we do (Denon/Ultrasone/Grado/Sennheiser etc), it definitely ranks up there with Bose/Beats buds etc...in quality for playback (audio/video listening). Great frequency and acoustics with distortion control.

Someone mentioned earlier that your headphones are pricey...IMO, they are quality and cost effective alternative. Not many are aware of audio differences but there are major differences, pending the quality/brand emitting the sound. For example, i gave a friend a recent release from the Jimi Hendrix camp: "Valleys of the Neptune". She played the album so much in her Lexus, she damn near memorized each track. She stopped by our facilities one day and i played it for her through our production grade sound system...she looked as if she'd seen a ghost! Most of today's major audio recordings are finalized using methods in which most sound systems do not playback properly. If one purchases a "remastered" audio recording or even video, they were robbed unless experiencing through a quality sound system.

Time will reveal it's durability and consistency...but after 1 month+ so far so good. Pardon the rant and thanks again
