Lennon...
Slightly surprised no one put up a post on Lennon, today.
Maybe most here are too young, or not a fan or... 30 years goes by in the blink of an eye, but like JFK, walking on the moon, Lennon, the Berlin Wall, and a few other events, I remember it well. Lots of great songs, but some close to home lyrics, fave of mine, from Watching The Wheels: I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round, I really love to watch them roll, No longer riding on the merry-go-round, I just had to let it go... I was out watching a Monday Night Football game with friends, when Howard Cosell announced that someone had shot Lennon in the city. We all looked at each other and said in unison, "who the fook would shoot John Lennon?"
