Thank you all, for the views and kind words...

I can count the non-maintenance repairs, on less than one hand, over the nearly 9 years we have had this Vette. A planned coast to coast to coast and back ~7,000+ mile trip this summer, may prove otherwise, but knock on fookin wood.

No F Car, but for $48Gs out the door back in May '02, it has been a very fun car: handles like a go cart, very very fast & quick, etc., hauls stuff, gets amazing mpg, and other than the heat through the arm rest hump and the Borlas being way too loud, (and droning at cruise speeds), it has been all I hoped it would be.

A couple of finishing up pics: a shot of the 'Malibu-like' interior that the car mags continually beef about, (though the gauges, DIC info and HUD are the best in the biz, imo), and a couple shots from In the Belly of the Beast.
Thanks again for looking!
BR, mD

CW,
Yes...all stock in engine bay, other than a replaced batt, which is again due for replacement.
Car is stock, except for the Borla stinger exhaust system.

Borla sez it 'adds up to 10 hp', fwiw...it comes stock with 350 hp, generally pessimistic, at that.
Dunno; it was already very fast and pulls like a locomotive, in all gears, all the way towards its ~175 mph.
The Borlas make it sound like an old woody Chris Craft inboard, but it does drone at cruise speeds, eg 1500-1800 rpms.
