KYZRSOSE is on a distinguished road
The KYZRSOSE is gone....well....not DEAD yet either....

The original KYZRSOSE has been turned into my former employer. As of last Friday, I officially resigned. But much like the old TV show, "I Dream of Jeannie" where the Daran's are replaceable, the KYZRSOSE will be resurrected. To what? I don't know yet....

I will still be lurking around, checking on my friendships gathered along the way while searching for the information I sought. I learned so much from everyone, E53 and 70 owner's.

The fun I had at various meets, online conversations, etc..., was fantastic. I'm so glad I found X5world 4 years ago.

K/B out for now....

My fav shot is below....

K/B,
Did you hit the Lotto and tell 'em to stuff it?!

Don't do an MIA on us, my friend...
And, you are way too young to be retired.
Best Regards,
mD & V

Titz Pic of yours, by the bye...I remember that.

Couple pics from the Mt Laurel Meet...

Do keep coming around. There are many former X5/X3 owners who still hang out here.

PS: Not to nit pick but the Darrins were from "Bewitched", not "I Dream of Jeannie". Yes, the TV was my babysitter.

I wish I did....I left without a new home...but I should land somewhere soon. Let the whoring begin....
As for being retired, you're never too young to retire. I'll live my retirement dreams through your current one.

That's a complicated question and an even more complicated answer. Short answer...Yes & No. It was part of a compensation package that included a personal car as well as other perks. I could have chosen to keep the car (with 120K miles) or take some more liquid assets. I chose the liquid assets over a wonderful, beautiful, hot looking 120K mile BMW X5. I will miss her, but not as much as the presidential-flash-cards I will receive.

Arg! - You are a wise TV connoisseur, and I did not realize that soon enough. I get my 60's TV show's referring to special powers mixed up sometimes... I will continue to check out all the awesome X's in here, and maybe pop in on a meet here and there. Does owning a BMW at least help me qualify for a meet spot?

Yes.....I have trekked back to the Jeep family. In the midst of changing jobs, homefront issue's and a host of other financial burdens, the X5 audience in my household will have to take a back seat.

I looked at many options for my next vehicle. Lease a new X5, Lease a new X3, Lease a new FX, or buy a used X5....or buy a new Jeep. Based on my mileage (or future excursions) leasing was not going to be a option. That means purchasing a new X5/X3 was out. I was seriously looking a buying a pre-owned X5, but with warranty concerns, and the money difference between a pre-owned and a new Jeep, I decided last minute to look at a new Jeep.

After many weeks of determining the right options, and sourcing the car from any dealer in the USA, I found a vehicle in OH, that my dealer in MD would get for me. 43K MSRP, bought for 38K. Is it a X5? NO. Is it similar? yeah kinda.

What I miss the most - HUD, Comfort seats, Sport suspension and the sound...in that order. In fact, color selection and wheel choices were my main concern to keep that KYZ X5 look.

KYZRSOSE will live on.....and if I can't get over my squabbles with the Jeep, maybe a used X5 can get back into the picture....

The new Jeep Grand Cherokee is a great choice! It's no X5, but it is a damn great car. Congrats on your purchase, hope you continue to stay here!
