Watches

I received a PM about my avatar, so I figured I would start a thread. How many of you are watch collectors/fans and what do you currently have in your collections ?

I am not a watch collector but do like good, reliable and solid watches. I have currently a Breitling Navitimer (which was offered to me as I would have never spent that amount of money on a watch myself), a Citizen (I believe the model is Skyhawk), an Invicta Prodiver for everyday use and a Tag Hauer with my company name on it as it was offered to me to celebrate 25 years of service.

I picked this one up last week.

Also bought this strap so I can alternate with the SS one

I love watches. Too bad I'm just a youngin. I wear a tag heuer aquaracer and have a krieger.

My goal is to get an audemars piguet. Those watches are so cool.

Superocean? Great looking piece, especially with the rubber strap. Before I knew anything about watches, I'd always head straight to the Breitling case as a kid.

Have had my eye on these lately. Not usually a Rolex fan, but the Explorer II is handsome. The new Tags are just plain badass. And the IWC is many years and promotions away, but timeless, elegant, classic, beautiful -- incredible.

Ive seen a few recently that have an enormous face. I really liked the way it looked. Is there a name to that style, so I can look them up?

Thanks

Looked at the Explorer a few years ago, but decided on the GMT Master II instead. I like how it can display 3 time zones. It had just been updated for the 50th anniversary, with a new crystal, ceramic bezel, new movement, quick-adjust hour hand, and a green 24 hour hand. I still wear it most days, the others sit in the drawer.
