Audi A7

I've seen pictures of the new A7 from the NY auto show, and I've heard it comes out here in the US sometime in the next two months. I saw one today driving so I snapped a couple of pics. Sorry the quality isn't great but you get the idea. From behind, I think it looks a little like an older Volvo S80 and isn't too flattering, but the profile and front look pretty good. I noticed it was the 3.0T which is the only engine I believe they offer till the S variant and it looked liked it had the S line package/wheels.

I am just so not impressed with this car...and I really dont like the rear:-( We've had the A7 around in Europe for a at least a couple of months but can't get used to it.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
While the front does look typical modern audi, the rear just doesn't do it... looks dated, even as a new car.

The rear looks very strange. Like it is an Audi mixed with a bookshelf.

I can't help but think the rear end looks a little like an Olds

I don't like the Audi or the BMW hatch backs. I do think the Audi 6 and 7 look better than the current 5.

I saw one of the A7 3.0TDI back in January at the VW Headquarters. It's better looking than the 5er GT alright.

I saw one in Italy last October. It was in black which made it look a little better, I think. I agree with others' comments about the front/rear and it does make 5er GT even uglier that it already is.

Yeah the rear really is disappointing. I wonder what they were thinking. Audi has been making some good looking rigs lately, but this one missed the mark.
