I don't know if there's a SonyStyle store near you, but that's where I got the best comparison view of the SXRD, right next to the plasmas and LCD and 3LCD projectors. I have a 4 year old Sony CRT flat screen in 4:3 and I remember how blown away I was when I first checked out the on-screen menu, but the menu and custom settings for the SXRD are astounding. I was impressed by the HD projector, but I see that as more applicable for a "home movie theater", and that's another house for us
