I've tried to settle this between us, with no success, this is why I've put it up here....And to notify the rest of the forum not to do business with this guy. He sold faulty headlights, has zero customer concern, and will not issue a refund after nearly no replies from PMs....But, I'll ask for his phone number, doubtful he'll give it up...

Well, I gave it a shot with a phone call to fix things. End result was I got nowhere further than I had already gotten....Either eat 30% ($165.00) for what he calls a 'restocking fee' or get the lights shipped to somewhere and have them sit for months again until I get home...

I even tried to compromise with this guy saying he is going to have to spend 50-60 dollars for shipping them to me, keep it and we will be even, refund my money, and he can fix the lights and sell them again. I further tried by okaying to a 100 'restocking fee' but no way I'd pay 165 when all he is going to do is resell them.....but he wouldnt agree.

He then tried to argue that maybe I just had the lights for all those months and maybe didnt like the angel eyes, maybe that is why I am trying to get rid of them and demand a refund. He then tried to argue that maybe I wasnt even in Afghanistan, which pisses me off because during the purchase I told him I was, and even told him on the phone I had both orders and airline tickets to prove I was there while the lights sat from May until they were installed in August.

At one point in the phone call he even said that he had already shipped them back to the return address in FL...after I called BS to that, he then said that he was going to do that..

Anyways, if any of you are his close friends, any help would be appreciated.

I did get vulgar towards the end, after I stated the whole point of this call was to fix things with the transaction, and he said, it doesn't matter, PM, Internet or phone call, nothing will change....So the 16 minute phone call didnt get anywhere

Sorry to all that I dont post much on here and now I have to throw this out there, but could really use some help to try to fix things.....

I will continue to do business with Tom(MRBMWX5). He is first class in my book. And has gone out of his way to help me on a few issues.

Good luck. If Tom is wilingl to fix your headlights then get them fixed and put them back in. Or pay to restock them.

If you had any idea of how the military works, you would know that you are not always in the same place. I deployed the first time with a unit that was based in Washington state, when I got home I was transferred back to Florida. I dont need to keep you up to date with what the military decides to do with me. I came back to Florida for enough time to process with a new unit and then start my predeployment training back up, I gave them to a friend who said he'd mail them for me, I left him cash and then left to go train in NY for a month...

by the way, Oregon and Washington are only separated by a river, in case you do not know. So I lived in Portland, OR and was based in Vancouver, WA.

Wow – I have not been on here in a while, I log in and this is what I see….Unbelievable…LOL… well first of all flying – thank you for serving our Country! A+ in my book…here is the deal…I am a 5 year mod junky veteran here on what was once called x5world..now the outpost….have been to several meets with our fellow peeps here…so people know me from meeting me face to face… I also know Tom and lets not hide it….I am friends with Tom….though we live quite a few states away from each other. Flying.. Your side of the story is very respectable..but you want a complete refund after 5 months….I don’t care where you go, but you will not get a full refund….Tom, I believe has fallen within some fair rule of thumb here. Like me, many of us here know Tom on a personal level… IMO….and IMO only airing this out to everyone…not such a good move….keep this type of thing between you and the other party…can you imagine if you bought these on ebay from someone that no one at all knows…..good luck in that type of situation…Brother, have Tom repair your headlights….his offer is good… now remember before you come back at me with any disrespect…I come to you in a good way and I am only sharing my thoughts after reading this thread. I believe that you both have a fair side of the story here…just did not need to be put on blast….especially after all Tom has done for the forum here. Tom is the type of guy that would give his last dollar to someone that really needs it….get my point….any way….I hope that you both find some common ground and do not continue the pissing match….just makes both of you look like idiots.
