Is it just me...

... That hates people who add HID kit to any f*cking vehicle? Specially those that add the kit to non-projector headlamps/fogs. I just got super blinded by a 1980-sum'int Nissan Maxima whose HID kit probably is worth more than the vehicle. I have not seen one patrol car pull over one of these bozos in NYC yet. I believe the DOT in NYC should start cracking down on this sh*t. And to top it off, he had LED strips along the top of the headlamp as if it was f*cking eyelids.

sorry... Rant over

I'm with you. I hate them, especially on old POS vehicles that are worth less than the headlights. They always go too bright and too high a Kelvin temperature so the lights look ridiculous. I see so many that are damn near purple. With the old non-projector style headlights they just look like bright haze and are blinding oncoming vehicles while not really giving them any benefit.

E61Silver is an unknown quantity at this point
It goes with the rusted out civic with huge rims and cheap high watt audio making the door panels rattle.

I totally agree. I can't believe folks who do those mods get away with it. In fact, I think ALL vehicles should have the mandatory headlight beam cutoff (instead of a diffuse pattern.......most American cars) so to reduce glare. Unfortunately the US doesn't really regulate beam patterns.......
