agreed entirely. i think HID kit looks cheap in spots where normal headlamps belong. Just pisses me off.
and i got pulled over in ithaca for "dazzling headlights" wtf, they are stock Xenons

I'm with you. I hate them, especially on old POS vehicles that are worth less than the headlights. They always go too bright and too high a Kelvin temperature so the lights look ridiculous. I see so many that are damn near purple. With the old non-projector style headlights they just look like bright haze and are blinding oncoming vehicles while not really giving them any benefit.

I totally agree. I can't believe folks who do those mods get away with it. In fact, I think ALL vehicles should have the mandatory headlight beam cutoff (instead of a diffuse pattern.......most American cars) so to reduce glare. Unfortunately the US doesn't really regulate beam patterns.......
