I have that Harmony 880 as well. Great remote. I tried that "Kameleon" one before (thought I could get away with a cheap one) - man, that sucked... I think that Harmony is the best out there for the price...

anyone have a good solution for a remote with both IR and RF? I currently have to use my Tivo remote and Bose remote to watch TV and its a PITA!!!!

Plus, if I can't get all the Tivo buttons to work, I guess I'll have to use 2 remotes forever.
The reason I selected the Phillips ipronto is that you can operate any item with either IR or RF. I have put all my source equipment in a server room in the middle of the house, with an RF extender. That takes the RF signal (through all the brick walls) and converts it back to IR for the individual unit.

Other items that use RF anyway don't require the extender.

I have programmed my macros and designed the button layouts to allow a base menu going off to WATCH, LISTEN and CONTROL.
Watch is anything such as my projector, plasma, DVD's, Cable etc,

Listen is my CD, MP3 stacker, House amplifier and volume controls for the speakers located around the house via a splitter

Control is for the air con, electric blinds and anything else I can be bothered with

The ipronto top end model also has an 'always on' ability to stayed connected to the internet and operate as a mini web browser, video feed (ie door camera) and Tivo direct as well as the above

I also understand that you can use a normal computer/tablet to do this as well.
