It was about frigging time +
Some of you might know we were getting our rather old (1960s) kitchen renovated. We had been without a stove, oven and a sink for about 3 weeks. I felt like hugging the plumber once the sink and the plumbing was done and operational.
This is it. about 98% done. Some touchups and paint left. Don't mind the beige trashcan. I know it seems out of place and will be upgraded to a nicer one pretty soon. I have some "before pix" too and I think the contractor did a pretty amazing job. He is the same chap who did our pool room setup. the kitchen imo is the most tense mod to a house you can ever do. Everything you see in the pic (from windows to door floors and roof) is new. We decided to go with kraftMaid for the cabinets and a mix of Kenmore elite and Jenn-Air for the appliances. The hood is futurofuturo whereas blackgalaxy for the granite, Grohe for the faucets and Jaccuzi for the main sink and Kohler for the Bar sink. The backsplash tiles that my wifey designed are all hand made. Total duration of the project = 2 months total fights with your better half over stupid stuff while designing = Infinity
