I visited a porn set a couple months ago for research that I am doing for a feature film. It was pretty hard core..

The straight porn star had a hypodermic needle in his pocket, that he accidentally forgot to hide. Evidently he used it to shoot some viagra type drug into his penis. -- I asked why he didn't just take viagra and was told it had something to do with the pop shot..

Before Viagra, Cialis, etc, the treatment for Erectile Dysfunction involved injecting a small amount of a medication directly into the penis, using an insulin syringe. It works fine, but most folks are a bit squeamish about such an injection. Obviously not your porn star friend.
