Mid-late 1950s, (back in the Age of Dinosaurs for most readers here), they were a fabulous sound to this kid's ears. When I read the news,
I ran downstairs to the basement to sort through my collection of old 45 RPM records; alas, no Platters, just empty slots in the ol' 45 record case. Must have lost the records I had of theirs, along the way. Great tunes great singing & harmony, a helluva run for that group.

iTunes?! Hasn't made my need to have, yet...
I was just curious if my 45 collection included any Platters...I originally had two records in the 'collection', but they are gonzo. Nice link on YT, thanks. Anyone interested in an eclectic, and semi-ok condition batch of 45s?  YBFAM
