Pictures of your Allroad

I ask that you would like to put your favorite photo of your Allroad in high quality

It is someone from that big country in the far east where guys are losing car keys all over the place, including rivers, and all are picnicing with colorful lights on their cars.

I hate to kill this thread because I do love Audis.

It is actually the perfect day for a picnic here in Atlanta. Summer temps have dropped and the fall is starting to creep in.

Also, the new Allroad looks pretty sweet. I would take one over a 3 or 5 series GT anyday. Probably over a 3-series wagon as well. For some reason I prefer Audi wagons over anyone elses.

I would actually consider an Allroad if I had the means. Who am I kidding though, I want a diesel in that vehicle. Built an Allroad 3.0TDI and that came out to €62k (incl. 19% VAT and registration) which is a lot of money.....and it'd be a shame to get that interior dirty (which I would)

Us Avant guys are really disappointed that the only thing we get in NA is the Allroad. I think it is actually overdone and funky looking but again, I am an Avant guy.

I wish they brought the 2.0TDI Avant here. That would have been awesome. I almost bought a Jetta Sportwagen TDI just for that engine but couldn't get with the boxy look.

It's a great engine, and I've driven the Golf and Golf Wagon various times. A friend and I shuttled Sugar Mountain in western NC all day and his Golf Wagon still averaged no worse than 7,4 l/100km (around 33 US mpg) despite the all-day steep climb. Quiet, economical, smooth. I'm looking forward to the US-release of the Mk7 Golf next year because it looks terrific inside and out.

One thing I hate is the VW shift pattern which is opposite of what BMW (or a driver-oriented car company) does with their DSG/Automatic gearboxes. I ALWAYS misshift in manual mode, and going from Sport mode to Manual in a VW is cumbersome cuz one goes thru Drive (and hopefully doesn't plop it into N, like I do).
