1990 300ZX Twin Turbo Ultra White with Ultra White Powder Coated Wheels. Everything appeared stock. Same 16" rims.

Then the motor blew, fixed it sold it got a 94 Z32. Couldn't afford to keep putting rear tires on it anymore.

So then bought an Acura Vigor. And the sickness continues.

1996 Olds Cutlass Ciera S and a 1968 radioactive green Mustang. Mustang is still kickin with about 120k, and the olds was sold after about 300k. Damn I miss that cutlass. It was a tank.

This is pretty interesting and entertaining. I didn't think any of us drove a Lambo or F-Car to school like Little Miss in the article.

TwinTurbo: Funny to see you were out front of the same house in your avatar.

I drove (inherited) my parents hand-me-down KE70 Toyota Corolla that looked like the photo below (but in blue):

I wanted sooo much to put some supra alloys so that it looked like the photo below, but being in high school meant, no disposeable income.

I was actually quite fond of the KE70. While it didn't have enough power, it was built tough, and had unmatched realiability. But the best part...it was lightweight, manual, and rear wheel drive!!! It was sooo much fun to drive.

And growing up in the Mid-North Coast of Australia (with all the white sandy beaches, sand dunes and fire-trails), having a trail bike was almost like a right of passage. So it's no surprise, I had a bike way before I drove a car. The bike I had in high school was the Honda XR250 just like the photo below.

Cool thread.
1971 Fiat 128 in a gorgeous flat olive green...manual of course. 2 door coupe. Unfortunately, this was not the rally version. Yeah, 0-60 was something like 16 seconds!!!!
I started driving in 1978...the Fiat was a gift and a curse.
The great attribute for the 128, fuel economy, fuel economy and fuel economy. That said, it was also broken down A LOT...which forced me to learn how to wrench on my own car to keep from having to catch the bus to school.
One day on my way to school, a lady pulled out right in front of me. I t-boned her tank...which totaled the Fiat.
That led to me purchasing a 1966 Mustang Coupe with flat ice blue paint with the 200 Sprint engine.
Sold it for a 1971 MGB British Racing Green...first car that I could wash AND wax, spoke rims and black interior with a killer stereo system.
None of those cars had AC, power steering, power windows, cruise control, ABS, etc....wow, times have changed.

Hah! I think I had just gotten a haircut before that pic, too! Lots of hair was cool back then, along with bell bottoms.
