BMW Plant Expansion News...

A lil' snippet article on the USA Mother Plant Expansion...

Spartanburg-based BMW expansion cruising along | GoUpstate.com

Tried to post it in the BMW News forum, but 'it' won't let me post there...
GL, mD

PS: X4 must be coming; that is part of the plant expansion process.

When I first saw your thread, I thought it said "BMW Plant Explosion" and all I could imagine was rocketing car and parts prices.

A plant expansion is great news. I have heard that BMW uses a programming language that I consult in - that combined with a chance to work at/close to home would be great.

I never realized S.C. was that big of a vehicle export. Good read. Thanks.

Without it, the Upstate would be mostly in shambles. Granted, the road infrastructure here is subpar but the state gov't is primarily concerned with attracting businesses (read: tax incentives). No surprise then that many companies have distribution and/or manufacturing centres here.
