No...I have tried them a couple times, as many of my geezer golf buds use them, but didn't care for the long putters. It takes some practice to use the long putter regardless of where/how one 'anchors' it, and I didn't feel like relearning to putt...I'm a decent putter with my lil' shorty 32" standard putter.
The rule doesn't go into effect until 3+ years from now. The younger pros that grew up with a belly/long putter will have to adapt. Any amateur that uses one will/should 'get over it' between now and then. The USGA and RGA should never have let the anchored putter in, in the first place, imo. Other than that, for me: no biggie. HDCP Index has crept back up to 14.8... ugh. BR, mD
