The 330's back..

I picked the 330xi up today from the body shop... The total bill for the repairs was $5046.99
Here's what needed replacement:
-Front bumper needed repainting and refinishing
-Front bumper cover replaced
-Lower grille
-L&R air inlet ducts-brake cooling
-L&R front headlights (they put bi-xenons in a car designed for normal xenons so I have no high beams)
-suspension crossmember
-radiator air duct
-radiator protective plate
-radiator under cover
-coolant
-serpentine belt
-cooling module
-L&R fender liner extensions
-4 wheel alignment
ughh.. Well, it's back and better than ever. After being without your BMW for nearly two weeks, you almost forget how good it is.. Then on the drive home, you fall in love all over again!

CJ: Glad it's back...glad you're back, young man.
My first new car, a '68 VW and my first new Harley, a '75 SuperGlide, cost less than that combined, lol!

Try to keep it under a hundred and between the fences and dodge the idiots out there.

What happened? Sounded like a fender-bender....
Anyhow, couldn't agree more....had a Hyundai Santa Fe 4WD as a rental for a trip for the past week and I will tell you, 4WD is always a boon for the snow/rain/slush condition, but the Santa Fe always felt like it was going to flip over if you pushed it too hard around the corners....it was no X5/X3....Heck, even the 1000 lbs heavier X5 could out handle the the Santa Fe (3700 lbs)....The 2.7L V6 was okay, but the Hyundai got the same gas mileage as the bigger, more powerful X5 3.0i.....hmmmm

Glad to be back in the X5 and I did drive the M3 today and WOW again!\
