One of my fav bands, even when he went solo. Loved their horn section. Used to collect their album art growing up...

Saw him and his band live once, as an 'opener' for Frank Zappa and his MoI band...at the time I had heard of him and a few of his tunes, but it was a helluva show. Zappa brought them back on for the finale and the jamming section(s) by the two bands, was fabulous.
