Baltimore GP ALMS and GT3

Was in Baltimore Friday and Saturday. A rough track, all surface streets in a city that is hardly know for smooth streets....

The GT3 went off without a hitch but the ALMS race was bizar. They crashed before even passing the green flag! Then there were 3 or 4 more serious yellows behind the safety car.

I was in the BMW CCA corral, anyone else made it there?

I skipped the Indylights and Izods on Sunday. Might go again if there is a 2014 event. Good fun.

Great seeing the Corvettes come in #1 and #2, especially after one of the Z4's went NASCAR on the #4 Vette in the corner.

Oh wait, I own a BMW too... hmmm, tough race for BMW, we'll get 'em next time

The LMP's were ridiculous on the start, how tough is it to maintain speed and not rear end the guy in front of you (which he denied after his first stint, it was comical)

And they need to get rid of that stupid chicane and just pave the road over the train tracks. Racing is more important than mass transportation!
