Me too, for both of us, Michael!
Hey, 3 cars and 3 scoots here; I can only put so many miles on any one of them, in a given year.

Hope you are doing fine!
BR, mD

Are you still on the original powertrain (ie. no major work on engine/transmission/transfer case, etc)?

I purchased it with 53,000 miles showing. It was a BMW lease return that lived its life in North Carolina, so I wasn't worried about winter time salt exposure. I did have to replace the front axles right away because the previous owner didn't pay attention to split CV boots. From there it was a final stage resistor at 78,000; an alternator at 126,000; then a front driveshaft and transfer case at 138,000 miles. That one was "unpleasant".

Aside from routine wear outs like brake pads, belts, hoses, and window regulators, that's been it. The differentials, transmission, and engine internals have never been touched! That includes no fluid change on the transmission too.

I will need to have the steering shaft U-Joints replaced soon and one of the fuel tank sending units must have gone wacko on me, but I can't complain about those as I approach a quarter of a million miles.
