X5 Crash, Fire, Fatality.
I work in the media in Atlanta and this particular police press release caught my eye; I thought you guys may be interested as well since we are all X5 owners. This was in reference to a double fatal accident in Cobb County, GA on I-75 on Nov 14th, 2013. Apparently, a 2006 X5 was rear-ended by a tractor trailer on I-75 and was pushed into several other vehicles. The X5 caught fire and driver died as a result. There was another fatality in another vehicle as well. Please see attached police press release in PDF format. Here is the link to the WSB-TV story. 2 dead in fiery multi-car crash in Cobb County | www.wsbtv.com Alex |

Pinto, X5, 1958 Caddilac... If a big enough truck hits it there is a high chance of fatality and fire. RIP.

While the X is a rather "safe" vehicle....pin it up against a semi that comes in at 40000+ lbs and all bets are off.
RIP

Actually 80,000 when loaded. I don't care what you drive, no car can withstand that. RIP.
