That halon substitute doesn't put out a solid (organic) material fire (class A), ie a campfire. It works on fluids and electrical fires. I would agree with your comments about marketing; this one is chrome, and is marketed as being suitable for race cars. It just doesn't work once a solid material has caught fire.

I don't see the point of their claim that the fire extinguisher has no thermal shock for sensitive components. The thing that is on fire is already getting thermally shocked simply by being on fire. Subsequent salvage is way down the list of priorities, IMO.

But if you want one, it does look nice.
