Reuters and Associated Press reported on Pence’s “rebuke” of former President Trump for his role in the Jan 6 insurrection. Looks like he’s close to announcing his own bid for the candidacy very soon.

I see a similarity between his timing of statements on trump and Chris Rocks belated reply to the will smith slap incident after almost a year of silence.

Some people will tend to reply if and only the timing is right so they can maximize the benefits to themselves.

Just an observation.

And the leaders of this country is still trying to further dumb down the voters so they can bend them to his/her will.

I can't think of a realistic reason why Pence would believe he has any chance of getting the Republican nomination for President.

You may be right but neither of us know his motivation. Poles thus far are directional rather than indicative of what they will be in the primaries. However, my bet is poles will not change much for Pence.
