I personally believe "political correctness" is one of the big problems with this country. No wait, that might hurt their feelings!

My dad is same age as McCain which is kinda old. Every time I see him he demands some kind of computer help that drives me nuts.....

It is a good thing that McCain can afford to use hired help for his techno-needs unlike most of us, regardless his limited range of motion issues.

I really doubt that Obama is capable of texting in lightening speed with non-qwerty cell phones as what today's teens do.

I am not siding any candidate at least when this is concerned. Should get a life... Picking on trivials.

yeah, our selection does suck worse than normal this go round... gotta pick the lesser of two evils. Not voting "for" anyone, but voting against the other. God I hate politics! They are corrupt around the world!

You missed my point by miles.

Let's go back to the start. I didn't make fun of McCain, or any people with disabilities. I made fun of your rabid efforts to slam Obama at every turn, as you are pretty funny sometimes. You said McCain was a beaten and broken individual. That doesn't sound like the sort of person you would want in the White House. Your attack on Obama backfired and made McCain look like a lousy choice. I thought that was funny, not the disabled part. Now who sounds silly?

I don't think physical disabilities have anything to do with it. Broken in spirit and mind doesn't make for a great leader. We know his computer use (or lack of) has nothing to do with physical disabilities because McCain himself said that it didn't. He used the word illiterate to describe his own computer abilities. That doesn't mean disabled, just unable. The physically disabled card was played by apologists from his party, it was 8 years ago, and he denied it himself. Drop it already.

Now, did you compare McCain to Stephen Hawking? I just threw up in my mouth.

The mayor of my city is in a wheelchair. He carried the flag at the Turin Olympics in that chair. He has been a champion for the disabled. He is a so-so mayor IMO, and his own party has chosen another candidate for the next election, but that has absolutely nothing to do with him being in a wheelchair.

Obama was making fun of his inability to use a computer when the truth is McCain can't use a keyboard due to having his hands broken in a prisoner of war camp. His body is broken which is what we are talking about. It is said that everyone breaks under torture but McCain when left with an opportunity to go home said "no thanks"....It was not his turn. I don't consider that broken. His body is another story.

That sounds exactly like the person I want in the White House. The Obama camp made yet another mistake in an attempt to play dirty politics.

Nice of you to give him a pass.

You just skipped all the facts again.

Check out McCain's own comments on his ability to use a keyboard. Illiterate doesn't mean lack of dexterity. Obama was making fun of him being out of touch. Anyway, it doesn't matter. I wasn't laughing at McCain, or Obama, just at how your first post backfired on you. Don't worry about it.

Oh, and can you get Stephen Hawking to run instead of Palin? That way the average IQ on the ticket would solve the current problem.

Hey JCL

This was even published in the Boston Globe in 2000.

McCain gets emotional at the mention of military families needing food stamps or veterans lacking health care. The outrage comes from inside: McCain's severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes. Friends marvel at McCain's encyclopedic knowledge of sports. He's an avid fan - Ted Williams is his hero - but he can't raise his arm above his shoulder to throw a baseball.

Pretty easy to tell by watching McCain walk, reach and how he holds his hands that he has some serious physical limitations as a result of his 5 years in that Prisoner of War Camp.

Still want to defend the Obama ad? I thought he was telling everyone he was different kind of politician.
