so the NY Junior Senator is skipping an event in her home state because her political rival will be there?

Just more proof that Hillary could not care less about her constituents in NY, the state where she is an elected official.

And Palin is not actually running against HRC...she is running against Biden (and Obama). Although, I suspect HRC will be running against Palin in 2012.

Agreed! Political maneuvering at its finest. She chose to become a senator from NY, knowing that it would ensure her a strong power and financial base (and a bunch of electoral votes) for her presidential run.
