Hmm, aren't they both SENATORS? Yes, they should stop to deal with the problems their country has currently. Their job is to their state, not to their new "could be" role.

IMO, it does look like Obama punked McCain out in this situation. He is the one who initiated that the two parties get together and cooperate for the better of the county in the first place. Then when McCain tried to take the lead on something and suggested postponing the debates, Obama smacked him in the face. It was good strategy, IMO. Plus, everyone knows that Obama's bread and butter is speaking in the national spotlight, so why would he want to postpone the debate? On the other hand, I see why McCain would.
