Factcheck.org, and the Tax Policy Institute both disagree with your article. They debunked very similar claims back in July. Looks like the internet news media is recycling it.

Not my article and I clearly posted the source. It was published on Google Finance and Market Watch yesterday as well. The article you link to is from July, the article I link to was written yesterday.

The point is Obama's tax policies will cripple the US he is downright scary on his views of wealth redistribution and a number of other issues. I wouldn't trust him (or Pelosi or Reid) to run a lemonade stand so there is no way in hell I'd hand him the keys to the country.

At $120+ billion dollars a year that's been ticking- and without an end in sight if McCain is big dawg- none of you think that's expensive?

I've answered this before, but let me type this more slowly so you can follow along. If we leave Iraq before they can defend themselves, would not that lead to a more volatile situation that could be taken over by the likes of Al Quaida the way Afghanistan was prior to 9/11? Would we not then have to return to Iraq under worse conditions than exist presently at even higher cost to defend our new fledgling democratic allies?

McCain has never said we are staying in Iraq indefinitely or even a "100 years" as has been misquoted by liberals. He repeatedly says that we will be there until Iraq can defend themselves and not a day longer. It could be 6 months or it could be 6 years. Nobody knows, but McCain will make sure we don't pull out until the job is completed. Obama has made similar statements recently that the far left doesn't want to hear, of course.

Now the liberals will argue that Iraq has been able to defend themselves for a long time now and they are just milking our continued support so they don't need to step up on their own. Well, I'll believe the Generals in the field as to when Iraq is ready, not the liberals in Congress or the media that think they know better than the military.

By "your article" I simply meant the article you posted. Sorry if I wasn't clear. Yes, I know my link was from July and the article you linked to was more recent. If you check, you will see that the same rhetoric is being quoted in both. It isn't new information. That was why I posted that "the internet news media is recycling it" (the same lines).

The generals? The liberals? The media?

And all this time, I thought it was the oil companies calling the shots.
