If indeed what you are saying is true it seems to imply that "Slavery" in Obama's mind continues on today. If indeed that "Blind Spot" = "Slavery" and Obama is asserting that America is continuing the atrocity of slavery then I can understand his positions better. It seems to fall in line with his Ayres, Wright connection and his inner city roots of a community organizer. It also falls into place with his "Spread the Wealth" mentality and entitlement platform.

It all makes sense now.

You really should listen to the original radio interview (two links were provided) and make up your own mind. He didn't say slavery was continuing. Enlightenment, as you term it, doesn't come from above, it comes from within.

Videos like the one created elsewhere and posted in your first post are ignorant, or malicious, since the editor obviously knew that they were changing the intent by editing. Pick your poison. They are an example of politics at its worst. Spreading them lowers the campaign. Sorry if that hurts. Now, spreading them isn't the same as creating them, but it hardly helps now does it? Have you raised the tone of the debate or lowered it?
