Silly Posts - What Happens After the Election?

Reading some of these recent posts topics and the subsequent comments makes me ask "WTF!". Some of you really must enjoy spending, (no, wasting) time to research and then attempting to rebut the most silly things regarding this election. I really think that your family, friends and/or co-workers must not listen to you and this must be your only "outlet" to rant, since you spend so much time on this site typing away such nonsense. Most sane, rational people are aware that in the closing days of a Presidential election that both sides will resort to making the most incredible, either exaggerated or blatantly false accusations towards the other. Do any of you really take this crap seriously?

What on earth are all of you going to do after the election???

Well, let me guess...
This Political Forum will be archived after Nov. 4th. Yet I bet that many of you will probably not be able to stop your addiction to political blogging. Especially amazing to me that you will insist on doing so on a board that is ostensibly dedicated to BMW X5 automobiles. Why not find a different, more appropriate board for your rants. I guess that some of you will continue to blather on incessantly on one or more of the following topics....

1. Accuse the other side of massive election fraud...
2. Belly ache that our country is going to go down the toilet now that "your" candidate did not win.
3. Speculate on what role Sara Palin will have, regardless of whether or not John McCain is elected President.
4. Just make up somthing outlandish regarding the new President, just to provoke or elicit whatever responses you may get.

Please, please, please.... spare us...
no more....
Thank you.

Your rant will go in our new "Ranting about the Politics Forum Forum", a place for people to rant about all the political discussion on a BMW forum.

So what am I going to do after the election?

So what am I going to do after the election?

If Obama wins I will be praying every day for him and his family.
If McCain wins I will be praying every day for me and my family.

I look forward to not hearing the following on the daily news reports on radio and television:

- “Change"
- "You betcha"
- "I’m a POW"
- "I can see Russia from my house..."
- Joe the Plumber
- "We are winning"
- The surge
- Community Organizer
- "Real Americans"
- Enraging, distorted, false political advertisements

Like most of you, I will also be eagerly watching to see who the victor selects for his Cabinet and key White House positions.

Also, it will be even more interesting to see if the two parties actually get the message that Americans want them to work together to actually create and pass legislation that will benefit us all.

Finally, I really do look forward to January, knowing that the moving vans will be taking the Bush’s and Cheney’s and their administration out of the White House, hopefully never to be damaging to this country again!

While at times I agree and disagree with many of your points, I will miss:
- Wagner's constantly changing witty avatars
- JCL's international perspective
- AzX5's amazing kinetic graphic ability
- Quicksilver’s amusing provocative comments
- Eric5273's bloody enthusiasm and passion
- FSETH’s dogmatic energy to beat an issue into the ground
- and finally, both MrLabGuy & trueX5er, since they tend to agree with my point of view (most of the time...)

I am as stubborn and bull-headed as the rest of you in my beliefs and equally verbose on my comments and responses to yours. But ultimately, I do respect all of you, while I still may disagree with your points and opinions. I trust that we all want this country to get back on the right track to allow all of us to be as successful as we can, while returning to the ideals that this country has stood for and defended for the first 40+ years of my live but, has deviated from over the past 8 years.

I plan on casting my vote tomorrow for the Obama/Bidden ticket and truly hope that they will prevail and that my confidence and trust in them to do the right things for all of us will turn out to be warranted and that our country will be better as a result.

For this forum, starting on Wed. 11/05/08, I look forward to chatting with all of you about BMW's and Mercedes-Benz automobiles, here and on other related blogs...

Well you better not post in the POLITICS-FORUM of a board then

Me, I will not be voting for socialism.

As I understand it, this POLITICS-FORUM will be archived after tomorrow's election with no more posts accepted. Is that not going to be the case?
