there was a story on Newsweek.com that was telling - a french politican was proud of his support for obama. but, when asked when we would see a black person in high office there, his response was - no, never, things are different here.

If I may....I live in a country where dirty politics such as guns, goons and gold is the name of the game, I have but admiration with the way your election has turned out.

Regardless of who won the election, all I can say is that you should be proud to live in a country with so much resources to get around. A lot of my countrymen would die just to live the American dream. Peace all!

not bitching - great concern that a guy that stands for nothing can elected on pure celebrity alone. i bitched about clinton - obama and what he signifies scares the sh*^ out of me.

As FSETH mentioned people are tired of Republicans. Second, McCain was not the best candidate in these times for a Republican ticket. If Ross Perot was around he would have probably helped split the votes. Sell Exxon stock first thing in the morning.

Reverend Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan, Jessie Jackson, Reverend Wright and Bill Ayres are celebrating Obama's victory as we speak.

As a proud American I have a hard time understanding how this can be good for America.

Oh well...We've made it through worse so I guess we can survive Obama, Reid and Pelosi.

After Bush anyone is better.

Obama is not part of the Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan, Jessie Jackson, machine that is why I supported him. He is a smart well spoken man that happens to be black. That is why the country elected him.
