Sad truth is if I could sell my house and rental property I'd seriously consider moving to another state. I can do what I do for a living anywhere in the United States. Just prior to the real-estate collapse I placed my home on the market only to see prices plummet.

I stay for the climate; however, if the housing market was not what it is today I'd be gone and California would have two less significant incomes to tax and if others like me followed California would be a cesspool of illegals and lunatics. Some might even say that is true today.

If the Governator wants to raise the sales tax, then he also should make the state assembly and state senator accountable and cut off all these wasteful spending programs.
