The only liberal television host who seems to be making a stink about it is Rachel Maddow on MSNBC. The rest of the mainstream media seems to love it.

It looks like we will have a Clinton administration all over again. Basically, a very slight shift to the left, but no major change. All you conservatives that screamed "SOCIALIST" can rest easy. There will be no socialism.

As I said several months ago, Obama is no far-left liberal. He is rather moderate, and his cabinet appointments certainly reflect that.

Well he ran on a socialist platform. So all the kool-aid drinkers will have to dance with the girl they brought

Obama will make "new beginning" for national security. http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/12/...rap/index.html

Wonderful, last I checked, we hadn't had a terrorist attack in the US since 2001.....lets CHANGE that I guess.

The terrorist attacks happen when our intelligence agencies want them to. The President's national security team has nothing to do with it. Their job is simply to get on television and say what they are told to say to make everyone feel nice and secure and at the same time, make sure everyone supports the foreign policy agenda to invade whatever country is being economically targetted and thus blamed for the covert operation/terrorist attack. You will be just as secure under President Obama as you were under President Bush, meaning as secure as they want you to be. As soon as they decide that they can trade your security and/or life in order to gain public support for the next foreign invasion, you will no longer be secure. But you can be assured those decisions are not being made by those on the President's national security team. They are simply there to give a speech every once in a while to make you feel good.

Apparently they have determined that our next attack will happen in the next 5 years.

A bipartisan commission is asserting the country should expect a terrorist attack using nuclear or biological weapons sometime in the next five years.
