Special Olympics

Please let's all give President Obama a break on the Special Olympics comment. I'm sure he feels terrible enough already for saying something so stupid.

If there is any upside to this story is that the Special Olympics has and will be benefitting from an increased awareness to their organization and what they do for people.

From what I hear those kids in the Special Olympics would kick his butt. What'd he score? A whopping 129? I take no offense to his statement, I believe he was correct.

You can't be serious?? Would Bush or Mccain been afforded the same "pass"?

I think not.

My cousin is retarded, oh excuse me *special*. I believe he could bench press Obama

He is 5'11", 240lbs.....whoa boy.

I agree, had Bush said this there would have been 'tard picket lines outside the Whitehouse.

I hear, I hear ya.

No, Bush or republicans would not have been given a break.

I just can't imagine skewering our president for this.

It would be a really cheap shot if Bush or a republican was criticized for this if he/she was quickly remorseful and sorry for such a stupid thing.
