What was wrong with Bidens comments?

This is the reason I hate politics. Everytime anyone say's anything
it gets twisted to meet someone's opinion, goals, agenda, ideology,
slant, ect ect ect.

Then the media get's out their big media club and starts beating
the dead horse over and over again.

Now....everybody's all up in arms pulling the ""What the vice president meant to say" card. What a bunch of PC wimps.......

CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive - Biden’s flu advice: Avoid ‘confined places’ - Blogs from CNN.com

Biden said;

"I would tell members of my family, and I have, I wouldn't go anywhere in confined places now. It's not that you're going to Mexico, it's you're in a confined aircraft. When one person sneezes it goes all the way through the aircraft. That's me.

"I would not be, at this point, if they had another way of transportation, (be) suggesting they ride the subway. … So from my perspective, what it relates to is mitigation. If you're out in the middle of a field and someone sneezes, that's one thing, if you're in a closed aircraft or closed container or closed car or closed classroom it's a different thing."

Yeah heard a similar variant of that. Wish the media would report this:

In 2008 between 250,000-500,000 people died from Influenza. How many died from Swine flu?

Apologize apologize apologize. I wish at least one politician would show
some testicular fortitude and not be such PC wimps.

OMG this is gonna hurt someone's feelings...

Did you see the DSEC of Homeland? She said, quote:

"Closing the border now would do nothing because the virus is already here"

Ah so by that logic, why not just flood the US border with the 2400 infected Mexican citizens because, 7 people in Texas already have it anyway

Nope didn't see it. All I'm saying is that Biden's comments
had a degree of truth to them and didn't deserve the attention
they got. And certainly didn't require an apology from anyone.

100% but that is the world we live in now. This is the same country that wants Miss Cali to apologize for her opinion

This thread wasn't really about politics.
I was just irritated by the whole PC/ Media
suck all the blood out of a non story thing.
But I knew it would get moved by virtue
of the name used. So I guess I'm done now.......

Along those lines, I saw on the EveningDrivel where an entire school district,
in the Houston area, is closing down because one kid was diagnosed with
Swine Flu, aka InfluenzaH1NH1hn1NH11hnNH1...

Jezzzz...I love the reactionary, media/legal driven bs by that fine gang of "educator"
admins, and others.
"We" are idiots...
