Yes... yes yes, we hear the song of the pied piper
and we must, yes we must follow the pigs
over the precipice.

Uh, b/c he's a guy talking out of his --- most of the time, that's what's wrong with his comments.

Actually his comment lines up with what a lot of people are already
thinking so I wouldn't characterize his comment as emanating from
an undesirable orifice.

I'm just still having a difficult time realizing that the VP who is one 'heartbeat' away from the Presidency is a guy who never got more than a handful of votes in the two times he tried running for the presidency.

Btw, he is known for his one-liners, which are often strange and inappropriate, and followed by an apology.

Dick cheney was one 'heartbeat' away from the Presidency as well
and frankly I got no warm and fuzzy feeling from him at all.
This guy was so spooky that he had no sense of humor.

The "one-liners, which are often strange and inappropriate" as
you put it is just part of Bidens personality and frankly wouldn't
get half the milage they did if it wasn't for the media and
others who are constantly looking for a pot to stir.

We can debate the next 30 VP's, that's not my point. He made a dumb comment, the white house had to 'clarify' his comments and he is the source of late night humor as a result of what is yet another gaff. That's all I'm saying. I don't think his comment lines up with what people are thinking. Mexico city has 20 million people and there are around 160 deaths. He is acting like the numbers are in the hundreds of thousands and given the fact that his every single word is being scrutinized, he should watch what he is saying, or do what Barry does, read from a teleprompter at all times. If I want solid medical advice I'll listen to the director of the CDC, not him.

My point is I don't think what he said was dumb at all.
That's what he felt and in some ways it made sense.
The fact that he said it was his opinion and here's the point......

Then the media doesn't need to get out their big media club
and start beating every dead horse comment over and over
made by every politician. Honestly pretty much no one cares
about these benign comments. And those that do care have boring
lives and need to meddle to feel good about themselves.

The public needs to quit buying into listening to everything
the media reports regarding it as important.
The truth is Nobody but nobody needed to get all up in arms
pulling the "What the vice president meant to say" card.
Sometime the best thing people can do is shut up and let it die.
But they won't because they're a bunch of PC wimps.

He is the VP of the USA.
He made a public comment during an interview.
People look to their leaders in times of crisis, etc.
His 'opinion' was based on nonsense not fact. It was a dumb comment in every sense of the word. The US has 300 million people. There are just over 100 confirmed cases. Do the math.
During the daily WH press briefing the press corps (not the big media club) asked about the comments.
The WH Press Officer had to clarify the comments made, b/c apparently the VP cannot make clear statements himself.

Ah so by that logic, why not just flood the US border with the 2400 infected Mexican citizens because, 7 people in Texas already have it anyway
Crappy Nappy is quite the gaffe machine, just like Biden. By her logic, we shouldn't try to stop guns from flowing to Mexico because guns are already there anyways. Or we shouldn't try to stop the flow of drugs to the U.S., drugs are already here. What a dumbazz...
