I was able to track down part of the "original speech." Who knew he was going to reveal so much! It's too bad the folks on the far-right made him change it.

Since when do we feel we have to protect our youth from the President of the United States? Why are we treating our highest elected official like some type of criminal intent on brainwashing our children? If we are so terrified of what this man believes, why did people elect him president?
Opponents of Bush displayed the same level of bitterness for choices he made during his presidency. However, no one went so far as to accuse him of trying to corrupt the minds of children in the country he served. We usually reserve that level of vitriol for cult leaders and child molesters. Some of this stuff is pretty sad.............

Barry, the problem is what is perceived by the general public what the POTUS and his staff and his policies are in same cases contradictory to what he promised. The honeymoon is over for POTUS and the general public does not appear to approve his recent policies.

Why is that news? Every election produces the same results. I promise this....... I promise that But little of it get's done. No surprise there. But really like I said the level of vitriol displayed by some people is usually for cult leaders and child molesters. For people engaging in this type of behaviour, I can tell you "what goes around comes around"

Well, the Chicago-style politics is not going over too well with the rest of the country. Nevertheless, I agree that all politician promise this and promise that and things...and no, you can't blame all this vitriol on Fox News...which I find quite funny when Gibbs speak...I think POTUS needs to get a better Press Secretary IMHO. But, the POTUS have been associated with some radical people in his lifetime in the past...whether that makes him radical remains to be seen...but maybe POTUS's past is coming out to haunt him as well...
The U.S. has traditionally been a center-right country and having lots of left-based policies has gotten people from both sides riled up. This healthcare debate really set things on fire. I'm curious if POTUS has any new significant details to bring out without misrepresenting doctors and deriding them as he did with some of his speeches. Either he is ignorant or his staff is ignorant on how doctors work, but I will tell you that he was quite mis-informed with how most doctors think and practice. We do not think like trial lawyers... I believe it's just a few people banging the drums of discontent, and the media having fun highlighting these squeaky wheels. All things are possible though. Politics not withstanding, imo some of these vitriol spewing people are setting themselves up for a serious Karma adjustment. If this President is successful in what might be considered a favorable agenda and people see the results, some of these negative talking folks will be sucking wind and suffering from the results of "what goes around comes around". The whole thing is comical on the one hand and sad on the other. Honestly I have never seen anything like it.........  Quote:

I'm sorry Obama bugs you. I didn't vote for him but I understand
why losers are angry and so does every other sensible person. The only difference there is with people who call him a socialist is they don't have the guts to say what they really mean so they only thing they can say without demonizing themselves is socialist and hitler. Obama certainly isn't the first Democrat running for president to be accused of communist sympathies. And as usual, the accusations are rarely linked to policy specifics. But the difference with Obama is that, in the eyes of the right, it's not just his political affiliation that implicates him as a socialist but again no one has the guts to say what that is. So what's the point of calling Obama Hitler or socialist? No one else but the 6 people who share that view is going to care and nobody is going to change their minds.........  Quote:
