It was a "landslide victory" so yes, he also won in the inner cities....

You and many other conservatives on this forum claim not to like Palin. So can you then please explain as to why key conservative leaders/faces of the GOP support her? Is this just a political decoy to attract the backward Tea Party types or political suicide?

Can you explain how the Democrats continue to support Pelosi when she is a certifiable left wing whack job?

If that were the case, this thread would not have reached 3 pages as of this posting. C'mon buddy! Don't take things "personally"! And besides, that is exactly what you are doing, right? Stirring the pot?

btw, welcome back to the "POLITICS FORUM".

Ok "buddy", since you want to participate, can you answer the original OP? Is this just a political decoy to attract the backward Tea Party types or political suicide?

And since you don't like the current president, who would be your ideal candidate to be president. I know it's hard but it can't be a comic figure like Captain America or bringing Reagan back from the dead for a third term.

I like Newt, but again people would be saying he's about to die.
I like Mitt, but a Mormon has little chance at the presidency.
I like what I've seen of Jindhal (sp?), but would have to learn more about him.
I need to study more about Eric Cantor as well.
Heck, that guy from Louisiana who is the lone Republican to vote for the bill last week (though I definately don't want it) seems like a good guy. (Making a decision for the people he represents, not who lines his pockets or is worried about his party-mates not talking to him at lunch.)

Scott

PS-check this out!

Now why do you have to call the tea party goers as "backward"? Just because they don't agree with you and the government?

Btw, I think John Murtha would be a great candidate!

Personal attack?

Trust me, you'll know it when there's a personal attack.

It is my OPINION that you are just stirring the pot. That is not a personal attack, it is an observation and opinion.

I guess the same way the GOP continues to support Michele Bachmann, Joe Wilson and yes, Sarah Palin (a few certifiable right wing whack jobs)....
