Of course it would be suicide. That's the lesson we learned from the cold war.
IF we take out the nuclear facilities before they come on line and are able to produce bomb grade uranium (too late on the NK's) then we set the potential of us losing a city WAY back. If we wait till the nutjobs running those countries have the opportunity to strike first, we lose NYC and they lose everything. Which is better? Hmmm. A fanatical leader who makes public speaches to throngs of 'cheering' citizens, builds a military, threatens neighbors and the region, preaches hate against the Jews, controls the people through military actions...
Doesn't sound anything like history to me <----sarcasm

Ahmadinejad needs to keep up the bad ass attitude...he can't just roll over for the west...and last I checked he was quite low in ratins among Iranians...
I just don't understand how you guys can expect Iran not pursue weapons in case they are attacked...US > Iraq US > Afghanistan gee if u were Iran what exactly would you do?? the heat is on  IMO once Israel and Palestine settle their differences Ahmadinejad will have absolutely nothing to go on...until then he is 'barking'
