Obama names brother of undecided House Dem to Appeals Court.

So much for Hope and Change. Just another Dirty Politician. He's broken more promises and contradicted himself in his first year more than any president in history from what I gather.

Hey, I don't know this guy from Adam, but I read your link to see what your president has gone and done now. The emphasis is mine.

You may be on to something here. He doesn't seem to be at all qualified to be a judge.

Backing up a little, why would anyone want to go into public service if the people he represents spend all of their time and energy slandering him? If the guy in Utah was unqualified to be a judge, I would get it. If you just want another reason to call your president dirty, then this article seems a bit of a stretch.

I'm not a conspiracy theorists but you have to admit the timing of his nomination is quite the coincidence. Here he is courting the ten Democrats who voted NO on the health care bill he is desperately trying to get passed. I make no claims this guy is not qualified to be a Judge; however, as President he needs to be careful as not to look as though he is buying votes. Truth is he does not care as long as he gets his way with this bill. A loss here with only 51 votes required would be devastating especially considering his dwindling popularity numbers.

This health care bill is for his support on the Left who are running by the droves. He damn well knows this key Democratic Congressman would like having his Brother nominated to a lifetime post on this Judicial Court. How much do you want to bet he votes yes now. I'll bet you $100. Do you have PayPal?

I'll bet you don't take that bet.

If I believed your theory, then it would be silly for Obama to invite the Democrat to dinner, he could have just bought him off by giving the nod to his brother. He could have saved the price of a meal. If he was that smart, he would have given the judicial position away last week, and then he would only have 9 to focus on instead of 10. Heck, I bet there are lots of other positions to give away, he doesn't need to have any of them to the White House for dinner. See, this conspiracy stuff is easy!

I just remembered that not all the politicians may be as dirty as you claim they are, and then that plan wouldn't work.

Maybe the 10 Democrats have Paypal, and Obama can send them money directly?
