You guys act like he just started his show as a result of Democrats taking over. He's been consistent for the past ~ 8 years or so. He was on a Conservative radio show years ago basically taking the side of small government, low taxes and personal responsibility. This in a time when Republicans were in charge...He was pissed at the government back then as well.

As for him being an admitted ex alcoholic...Funny how you fault a guy from pulling himself from a life of substance abuse to the cover of Forbes.

While I think he's a bit over the top to make an unresting show he does use History and actual quotes from this administration to make his points. Progressives want change provided by government programs and laws. He preaches personal responsibility and accountability.

I'm curious who you Progressive Liberals consider the Clowns of the Left Name a few...I dare you.

This is not about left or right...this is about Glenn Beck and the hypocrite that he is ...when he says whatever will make him the most money and admits that he doesn't give a sh*t...

He sells fear... cries about "his country"... but laughs all the way to the bank because it just "entertainment."

His own words..."I beg you, look for the words 'social justice' or 'economic justice' on your church Web site. If you find it, run as fast as you can. Social justice and economic justice, they are code words (for socialism and Marxism). Now, am I advising people to leave their church? Yes."

Yes this is about Left and Right.

"Social and Economic Justice" in the context of what he and others define as the Government taking from one and giving to another you're damn right.

Guy #1 comes form a broken family and works his way to the top of success from hard work and good choices being forced to give his hard earned money to Guy #2 who did nothing with his life but do drugs and live off the system. Social Justice and Economic Justice equates to distribution of wealth.

People who make more already pay more and actually pay for all entitlements, military and government programs and operations. You want more...

Social Justice is a tennant of the Catholic Social Teaching. The official Catholic doctrine on social justice can be found in the book Compendium of the Social Doctrine of the Church, published in 2004 and updated in 2006, by the Pontifical Council Iustitia et Pax.

Since Glenn Beck wants us to run away from our churches that support social justice, I ask myself... WWJD?

Matthew 25:31-46

31"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. 32All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
41"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'
44"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'
45"He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.' 46"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

Sorry...I'm not a Catholic and don't associate myself with any religion. Is there one all powerful "GOD"? Might very well be considering the scope of the Universe from the Billions of Billions of Galaxy's to the particles which make up particles of things which are the composition of Quarks.

If I look up in the sky and pray for "Fill in the Blank" will he hear me? I doubt it so I don't. What I do is try my best to be true to my word, helpful, honest (as possible) and be the best person I can be while on this earth. Religion is good for some and bad for others. Some need the structure it provides while some go off the deep end and become enslaved.

So...What the heck did that have to do with whether of not "Social Justice" makes for a good government model.

Some people need to fail and hit bottom before they get in touch with reality. If you keep feeding them and keeping them from falling thought their lifetime they learn nothing except reliance.

Example: A family member has always been kept from suffering even though she was responsible for the suffering with terrible decisions in life. This has gone on since she was 13 years old and now that she is 37 covered in tattoos and piercings she can't take care of herself. She always had someone behind her to support her and pay for her poor decisions. She is basically handicapped.

A government which takes from the rich to give to the poor ends up with a society which expects something for nothing. I believe in a hand up and even give a hand out, but at some point you have to let people deal with the consequences of their bad decisions.

I guess that makes me a heartless guy who does not understand how tough people have it who don't have resources.

I am not catholic either. You do not have to be catholic to be a Christian. You were responding to Dannyell who posted Beck's comments advising his listeners to run from any church that promoted social justice.

I assume by your comments that you do not consider yourself a Christian, so my my post is not directed towards you, specifically. Sorry. It is however, directed at those who consider themselves Christians with "Christian values", but fail to understand the scripture and listen to clowns like Beck who tell them to leave their churches.

Before, Glenn was just a side show act on a side show network (MSNBC). Now that he is headlining "The Greatest Show On Earth", and has control of the center ring, he has become a full fledge Clown.

Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart. However, they are social and political commentators on a network for clowns. Beck is a clown on a network purported to be a cable news network.

I'm confused. Are you talking about Glenn Beck the character? Shouldn't we restrict political positions to real people?
