BMW US Mutha Plant is about 80 miles from J's and 90+ miles from
our joint on the Mtn, but in slightly different directions.

A NC/SC/BeamER Factory, long weekend meet would be Titz!

And, we would love to drag some of the "drive ins" over to our
side during that time, for some serious 2 lane black top mountain
road running, fine bevs and bs!

That heat issue is real, esp. since most of the southeast missed
"winter" and is waltzing into summer...maybe a mid Oct meet,
just throwing out a time frame? NEway, food for thought.

An October meet would call for trailering up the (hopefully delivered by then) Ducati Terra Mostro for some two-piston slab time...some shopping in Waynesboro, some time with Popz in Mars Hill, heck yeah, start a thread and pencil us in for October...what about the weekend of the 5th-6th-7th?

Markets are closed Monday Oct 8th which might allow us working stiffs to carve out a long weekend...

I would have been there but I got on the wrong plane and ended up in San Diego.

Ah, I'm not exactly raising my hand to "host" the meet...

And, we all know Juan would feel usurped, espc. as he has
that world class club house and additional accoutrements
there in T Cay, SC.

The other thought slinking around my noggin, is that the S'Burg
plant may be "down"/closed to visitors, in Oct? for "changeover",
etc.

No spoil sport here, just typing out loud.

We just sent batch # 10 of our annual FL visitors, packing today
and we are off to Daytona B. tomorrow, to chase it with good
friends until late Sat. But on Monday/Tuesday I'm gonna start
sniffing around on the phone or net with BMW Mutha SC and
try and discern what might be available option and time-wise.

And, if anyone interested is reading this, and has some contacts/
info/ideas etc., don't be bashful on jumping in.
