You know the 'boken? It's quite a place... like a defacto 6th borough of NYC! It's only a mile square, but it has more bars than any other square mile on earth!!

Yes, I know. I am originally from Teaneck, NJ. I have spent some time in that "infamous" bar mile!

Well pencel me in for the 22nd . I'd plan to leave from New Hampshire on
the 21st (or even 20th) ....
As for "upscale" hotels it seems there's a nice Westin in Charlotte and also
another Starwood property called "The Ballantyne Resort, A Luxury Collection Hotel
"

.... Both are only ~19 miles from the meet ....

For those who want to caravan we could plan for a "pickup" stop
in CT, NY(C), Philly and DC before heading to SC/NC ....

Alright!! Now we're cooking! We're starting to get some real interest here. The number is up to 15 folks, now! Definitely enough for a meet!

This is going to be fun. I am really looking forward to meeting all of you folks. hope my X5 will be fixed by that time. I would hate having to drive another car for this event.

great idea

if it happens on a saturday i`ll have to start driving on friday to get there early on satuday and take a rest

I`m about 720 miles away 11 hours driving ( oh thanks lord for the nav system in the X)

I`m in long island NY is anyone want to caravan

I'd be glad to host a DC area stopover, I am about 2 miles off of I-95, and have plenty of parking.
